one month

one month of work
im starting to appreciate my (new) colleagues
maybe everything isnt so bad
we just need to learn how to live with people.

sometimes i think of getting out of this comfort zone
and venture out into the world of entrepreneurship
trying to figure out where to start, what to do, what to plan.

driving, diving, baking, jap, travelling, manga-ing
tw, hokkaido, nz, aussie, macau, hk, europe, seattle, LA

i have just so much to do.
remind me, please.

work.

i saw annie and sally today after work.
i was in the packed train, they were outside
i knew they wouldn't board the train
as from our usual old practice,
we would always wait for an emptier train.

and so.
i was so happy to see them that i practically hopped out.
at the same time, i learnt of another person's resignation. heh.

found this pic in my old phone.
yup, its the outcome of our entire finance coming back during the weekends.

what i heard during lunch that day left me in shock
haha.
maybe its luck that im seeing the ugly side of them from a newcomer and passerby's pov.
but no matter how disgusted i am,
i dun want to regret coming here.
again i should reaffirm my statement.
colleagues will only be colleagues.

byes

with that,
i left the place that brought me two years of tears and joy.
i dont regret.
and i wont.

eating, eating and eating for the past two weeks.
farewell lunches, dinners, breakfasts,
and even farewell teabreaks.

sakae- angel and gu
my fav chicken rice- gloria
coffeeclub- gloria, faith, boss
swensens- leslie, kl, inah, sally, siti
tehtarik- daryl, hp, hanwei
kfc breakfast (x2)- gloria, flor, boss
akashi- geraldine, justina, may

and so the meals for those two weeks were all FOC.
haha. i appreciated everything.

the chain of resignations was purely coincidental.
cfo, me, boss, kezia, glor.
all week after week. hehe.
handover was a nightmare.
but everything is out of my sight now, finally.

i didnt shed tears on that day,
if u exclude the part when i was typing farewell emails.
more of like 101% happy to leave.

i think im blessed.
found a new job fast.
got shortlisted for both the two and only interviews i went.

i am doubtful that i will find a second gloria, kl, annie or boss in this new place.
but i know with me,
there will be the same God.
the one who has been with me all this while :)
